DANCING MOVES

You re at a wedding, or some other festive simchah, and you all get up to do the walk-around-in-a-circle-with-hands-together-and-stomping-your-feet-dance. There are always times when the person you are next to is; going too fast for you, is trying to go fast and ends up being wild, or the person put their hands out in a hard way to grab and it make your wrists hurt, so the best idea ever is to put you hands on their shoulders (if they are in front of you), your wrists cant get hurt.
The put your hand on their shoulder move can always work, you can even do the yawn trick and put the hands over the shoulder if you feel weird doing it normally. Its fool proof. What I really like about the shoulder move, is that it comes in handy when a guy has really sweaty hands, say goodbye to slimy and smelly hands thanks to the new move.

My favorite move for if someone is holding my hand from the back like an idiot is, to just let go and keep my hand free, it also protects from sweat and smell.

What are your favorite dancing moves?

P.S. The jumping up and down parts are a real help when your hand is on another guys shoulder, push yourself up from him to get a higher jump.

I brought my bakuto daito couple times. One time almost stabbed some grandma who got a great idea to get a closer look, behind me.
Cartwheels are always fun.

theres one thing you have to remember with the shoulder thing - dont stand next to someone taller than you!

I'm going to try to get back into my old reading/commenting self. I keep seeing new bloggers names and makes me realize how out of it I've been.

Now about the Dance moves, I suppose the shoulder thing could only work with men. I always did think it was strange how when men danced they held their hands in back of each other.

Moshe: "bakuto daito" that your sword?

and I suppose that's the good part about having not mixed dances, you don't have some grandma doing anything to you.

I didn't know you do cartwheels? they teach you that in the class of yours?

But yea, it is fun to watch them do shtick.

Bakuto - wooden sword
Daito - ninja sword

It wasn't really mixed dancing, was mixed sitting but family was crowding in to watch. I like mixed sitting.

Not sure if learned by myself or not but it's from my days in Koach and judo which was like 10 years ago so kinda hazy.

The guys who do the flips in the middle are always cool.

Dowy

No, even a taller person, it works better on them.

I that its not as weird as taking off your shoes to dance.

Taking off shoes to dance sounds like fun!

I meant the women do that.

o, yea, they do, I've seen it. It makes sense, I imagine it hard dancing in high heels. Plus if you wear long gowns, no one sees it. I wouldn't do it though, cause that would make me feel shorter.
