Hey Michael it's me Netanel. Sorry I didn't write you the story earlier, anyway, here goes...
This Story took place on May 10, 2008...............................
A man in the Shul came up with an idea that they will make a letter and get a bunch of people to sign it. The letter states that every time there is talking in the Shul, the Chazzan or Ba'al Koreh will stop, then resume when it's quiet. The president read the letter before laining. In the middle of laining he went over to a guy and waved his finger like an umpire does when he ejects someone from a baseball game. The guy was embarrased and walked out. Around Shelishi, a former president got up and made a comotion: he was screaming at the president, in MIDDLE OF LAINING!!!! It got quiet again and the laining resumed. Everything was OK until the president got up to make the announcements(schedule for day, simchas, etc.) At the end of the announcements, he "apologized" to the Shul for his rude conduct. While he was "apologizing", people started screaming out, "Don't apologize @$*&\#","RESIGN" , "STEP DOWN", etc... The president sat down until after Aleinu. After Shul was over, again, people were screaming at the president, he just walked out. Just to give you
a fact of the Shul, elections for NEW board members took place on May 18, 2008. What a great way to get reelected...
Michael i got to go, i'll give you more info later...
