KILL THE RABBI AND ANYONE WHO DEFENDS HIM

I have read this post recently and I am mortified by our community. At first Dov Hikind came out with it. Then he hired Rabbi Twerski, who resigned due to threats on his family. Another rabbi went as far as to make a hot line for people. He got treated with threatening phone calls and a paper, signed by a rabbinical authority, telling people to call him a liar.

The proof is there, people will do these intolerable acts. Why dont people want to destroy their names? look at what they are doing. Its all because people say "he comes from such a choshov family you cant do that to him". I am pissed off that people can be so stupid. What happens if the person comes after your child next? what would you do then?

Im done steaming off, few things get me as frustrated.

Sad how nobody gives a damm about the victims, and how these molesters walk free.
And unfortunately if you try to take action, you find your life threatened or worse.
How sad:-(((((((

I really think we have a big problem on our hands. The world really does hold us to a higher level and the chilul hashem this creates is horrible. These men however, absolutely need to be prosecuted and kept away from our children. Parents also need to be cautious about who they leave their children with and teach older children to report any unusual or disturbing behavior no matter who the person is. I always keep an eye on my son and his music teacher when he has a lesson in his room. Even if you trust a person you can never be to careful.

Unfortunately with the internet, a lot of information becomes public and it's easier for sick and disguisting individuals to stalk and harass those people who are trying to take action. Such things should be done anonymously.

Mrs Lakewood Falling Down

Its sad that you can hardly trust people you know.

Esther Hadassah

I bet you if one person sticks up and doesnt care about what people might (emphasis on might) do to him/her;then things will change.

I say, return the favor. If some "rabbi" signed the paper, break his windows and trash his car. As for the molester, gotta do it the old fashioned way too.

Don't worry when it becomes a lawsuit against an organization like agudas yisroel or the OU then you will hear about it in the national news- would probably be a good thing anyway.

awesome idea. Anyone coming along?

Frumsatire

I think it has the potential to be on the news, someone just has to break it to them.

I wish I could say my 2 good friends, Mr Smith and Mr Wesson, but this is New York and getting a license is very hard.

Hesh, I hope you're right.

Mike you are absolutely right but the Orthodox communities support a collective attitude than an individualistic one.

Moshe, old fashioned way= slashing tires? :P :D

No, breaking bones.
When we came here 19 years ago, we lived in Bensonhurst when it was still 90% Italian. Those were the good old days.

I want to put in some where collectivisticindividualism, in this sentence, but I cant tie it in. Sorry childish.

Moshe

I think we go to the source and kill the molesters.

Ookamikun said...

Can't forget those that protect them though.

Mikeinmidwood said...

Moshe

Yes, but they will be of nothing, once we get rid of the real problem.

Ookamikun said...

But they're the bigger problem.

Mikeinmidwood said...

Moshe

Now that it's out in the open, you can forget about shidduchim.

When you mean you know it, Do you mean I know about it; otherwise into the bad shidduch flames you go. If you still want to come we wont mind.

yea, I can't understand it either. It eats me up. I feel so bad for these children.

I was reading on VIN one time how parents should go with their children collecting, and not let the kids go alone to strangers houses. I was thinking, it's so sad that it came down to such a thing. Where it used to be if you saw a mezuza then you can trust the house, and here they are taking advantage of young kids trying to do a mitzvah. For that reason I think they should stop sending kids out to collect.

I thought Esther Hadassah was married.
